Michael Perry
President
Michael Perry is the President of NPAX, where he brings over two decades of expertise in healthcare information systems and pharmacy benefit management to lead all aspects of the company’s operations, strategy, and platform innovation. Prior to joining NPAX, Michael served as President of BeneCard PBF, where he oversaw pharmacy benefit operations including clinical services, claims processing, call centers, and specialty pharmacy. Under his leadership, BeneCard PBF launched a national Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, increased its book of business by 45%, and saved clients millions through infrastructure enhancements and clinical optimization. Michael has also held executive roles at National Prescription Administrators, Select Medical, and Express Scripts, and led major system integrations supporting over 500 physical therapy clinics nationwide. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Michael is recognized for developing transparent, outcomes-driven healthcare solutions that connect physicians, pharmacists, and patients to improve care and reduce costs.

John Shaw
Business Development
John began his career as a U.S. Army Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Officer and Company Commander, where he developed a passion for technology, innovation, and empowering teams. Today, he brings that mindset to NPAX as Co-Founder and Head of Business Development, leading go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, and customer growth. His focus is helping payers tackle rising costs, data overload, and value-based care demands with actionable, intelligent solutions. Prior to NPAX, John served as CTO of a $1.4B Civilian IT Division at Leidos and held executive roles at Waltz, Videri, Teliris, Tradeware Global, and Barclays Capital. He also operates a consulting practice for CEOs and CTOs and owns two boutique optometry practices. John holds degrees from Valley Forge Military College and Dominican College, and outside of work, enjoys time with family, riding his Harley, and training in his home gym.

Joe brings over 14 years of experience in healthcare technology, having held leadership roles at BeneCard PBF, including Vice President of Information Systems and Director of Release and Project Management. Passionate about using technology to improve outcomes for individuals and health plans, he now brings that drive to NPAX. Joe earned his MBA summa cum laude from Mount St. Mary’s University, where he also studied Information Systems and Computer Science and competed as a Division I runner. Outside of work, he’s a private pilot and avid distance runner who enjoys participating in half marathons.
